Ciara O’Brien is an engaged youth advocate in Ireland and internationally. They are studying Philosophy, Political Science, Economics and Sociology (PPES) at Trinity College Dublin.
They have been engaged in gender advocacy campaigns since the age of 17, and have more recently diversified into LGBTQ inclusion and disability inclusion. Ciara focuses on taking a compassionate, intersectional approach.
Ciara has been involved in lobbying at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, at the European Parliament in Brussels and at the Garda (Irish language for ‘police’) Headquarters in Dublin.
Ciara is volunteering with Constructive Voices to learn more about the world of journalism and to draw from their vast network of peers and colleagues to share engaging and inspiring stories.
