Jackie De Burca

Jackie De Burca is an award-winning producer, author, and podcaster who is deeply inspired by people and their places. She believes that, as people, we share these places with all other creatures and aspects of nature.

She has been surrounded by animals since she can remember and finds their company to be both therapeutic and inspiring. In nature, Jackie often feels younger than when inside a building. And also more joyful.

She created Constructive Voices: an award-winning global platform and media brand dedicated to accelerating positive change in the built environment. Along with many other collaborators, she is bringing important news and stories to highlight how we can make our environments more nature-positive and better for us and the planet in the long term.

Inspired by the connection between people, places and nature. De Burca is the author of “Salvador Dalí at Home,” a book that delves into the life and works of the famous surrealist artist Salvador Dalí, exploring his personal spaces and how they influenced his art.

Her background in storytelling and content creation has been instrumental in shaping her approach to podcasting and media production.

Originally from Ireland, she lives in Spain with her Portuguese partner, surrounded by nature and their animals.

Her time abroad in different environments has been integral in how she views the world. Her vision is to use her media platforms and experience to help make a more nature-positive planet.

De Burca feels an inspirational connection with the land in Spain, while maintaining her deeply rooted attachment to Irish landscapes, soil and of course, the Irish character.
